The Yucaipa High School Theatre Department and Drama Club exist to bring the art of theatrical performance to the culture of our community. Theatre allows for the art of transforming hearts and souls in the understanding of the human condition. Our department is award-winning and toured Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2008 for the famous High School Fringe Theatre Festival, and travels each year to Sacramento for the annual Youth in Theatre Day. Join us for our many eventful productions!
Group Announcements  Dates on Drama EventsDrama Shirts will be on sale for $8 and people have to have money in before you get a shirt. Talk to deBaun, Brandon Thatcher or Anasstasia Quesada for more info.
Drama Pic is on the 6th in the morning. Wear your shirts(if you have them, Troupe shirt) Little Shop of Horrors will be the 12th, 13th and 14th of April from 3:30 to 9:30. Rehearsals will be April 9th, 10th and11th from 3:30 to 9 and March 26th to the 31st and April 4th to the 6th from 3 to 5. Rehearsal Schedule is coming. Black Box II will be in May sometime. January 28th we will have the one act festival in Tri-School Theatre. February 17th will be ESU Shakepeare Competiton at Palm Desert March 23rd to the 25th will be the Thespian festival at Upland High school. Paperwork is due by Friday. March 13th will be CYIT in Sacramento. Jungle Book is going to happen next fall due to scheduling issues. Talk to Brandon or deBaun if you have any questions. The Murder Mystery will be "The Grant High School WHODUNIT". The show will be February 24th. If you auditioned please note that if you are failing classes by the end of the semester you will be dropped. The cast list is up. If you have any questions please see Brandon Thatcher or Ms. deBaun. If you have a facebook there is a group just for Murder Mystery which will have updates and reminders for the show. Rehearsals will be held in the MPR every friday from 3 to 5 untill the show opens. TICKETS ARE ON SALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Playworks has been moved to May because of the lack of scripts. i will have a date in May. For info talk to Ms. deBaun or Brandon. The winter play is 'Check Please". There will also be other scenes in this as well. For more info on this see Ms. deBaun or Amber Salmon. The show will be February 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The "Haunted House" is going to be two weeks before Little Shop of Horrors. It is going to be "The Little Shop of Horrors Haunted House". For more info talk to Nikky, Anastassia, deBaun or Brandon.
